The Yugen Infra team is deeply honoured and grateful to the Delhi Chess Association (DCA) and its visionary President, Shri Bharat Singh Chauhan ji, for giving us the chance to participate in the prestigious 21st Delhi International Open Grandmasters Chess Tournament 2025.
It was a matter of immense pride for Yugen Infra as our Founder & Managing Director, Mr. Sheeshram Yadav, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while our Director (Strategy & Planning), Mr. Prateek Khanna, attended as Guest of Honour during the grand inauguration of Category ‘C’. We sincerely thank the DCA for this recognition and for the opportunity to be a part of such a remarkable event.
The tournament was further elevated by the presence of Shri Pravesh Verma ji, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, who attended as Chief Guest at the main opening ceremony. His words of encouragement reflected the growing stature of chess in India and inspired all participants.
It was a privilege to share the stage with esteemed dignitaries, including:

- Mr. C.S. Ashok ji, President, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Chess Association
- Mr. Amit Sharma ji, Vice President, Himachal Pradesh Chess Association

- and of course, Shri Bharat Singh Chauhan ji, President, Delhi Chess Association
This extraordinary championship brings together 2,525 players from over 25 countries, including many Grandmasters, International Masters, Women Grandmasters, and Women International Masters. The tournament is a true celebration of India’s chess talent, with participation from every corner of the country—an inspiring testament to the passion and unity of the chess community.
The world-class venue at Tivoli Gardens, Chattarpur, New Delhi, provided top-notch facilities and warm hospitality, ensuring a memorable experience for players, parents, and guests alike.
We were inspired to witness senior bureaucrats, chess dignitaries, and personalities from across India supporting this event. Such grand tournaments play a vital role in taking chess to every Indian home and strengthening India’s global reputation as a powerhouse in the game of the mind.
